Since we all have to stay at home to stay safe, let's have a little chit-chat about skincare (plus, it's been a long time since the last time I did skincare reviews). I know that selecting the right skincare for your skin is essential especially given the hot and dry weather here in Malaysia, which might be a little bit hard. But it doesn't matter as nowadays there are so many beauty brands that already produce skincare that meets the needs of our local skin. 

Recently, I just discovered Fanbo Cosmetics, one of the well-known Indonesian beauty brands where people are so fancy over their prominent compact powder. Fanbo products are designed to be applicable to local skin types allowing the users to feel just as great throughout the day. 

So, they sent me a package of their skincare products from the precious white series a few weeks ago for me to try and experimenting with my current routine. One thing that I noticed is all products from this range have Sakura extract and essence. They also riches in Pro-Vitamin B3 to help brighten the skin and also Chamomile Oil as an anti-irritation. 

So here are my reviews as well as a little bit of introduction of each product they've sent to me.

Soft and gentle facial foam with Sakura Extract, AHA & Pro-Vitamin B3. It protects your skin from free radicals and helps brighten the skin. Removes dirt effectively and absorbs excess oil for bright and luminous skin.

Directions: Pour the content onto your palm and rub between hands until foam lather emerges. Gently massage on your face before you cleanse them with water. Avoid the eye area.

Ingredients: Glycerin, Aqua, Myristic Acid, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Palmitic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate, Sodium PCA, Niacinamide, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Sodium Lactate, Dextrin, Prunus Lannesiana Flower Extract, Ascorbic Acid, Malic Acid.

Formulated to gently remove makeup and dirt, leaving skin clean and fresh. With Sakura Essence, AHA, Pro-Vitamin B3, and Chamomile Oil for brighter and younger skin. 

Directions: Apply and gently massage with clean fingertips all over the face and neck until makeup dirt is removed. After that, wipe it with cotton.

Ingredients: Aqua, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Niacinamide, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Phenoxyethanol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Dimethicone, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance, PEG-20 Stearate, Carbomer, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Tillia Cordata Oil, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Oil.

Gentle moisturizer with a light texture to hydrate, nourish, and brighten your skin without giving the oily and sticky result. Enriched with Pro-Vitamin B3 and Sakura Essence to provide maximum protection for your bright and glowing skin. 

Directions: Apply evenly to your face and neck. 

Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Dimethicone, Niacinamide, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, C20-22 Alkyl Phosphate, Titanium Dioxide, Phenoxyethanol, C20-22 Alcohols, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ceteareth-33, Allantoin, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Isohexadecane, Triethanolamine, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Disodium Edta, Polysorbate 60, Fragrance, Sorbitan Isostearate, Tilia Cordata Oil, Dextrin, Ascorbic Acid, Malic Acid, Prunus Lannesiana Flower Extract.

Formulated to gently remove makeup and dirt while leaving skin clean and fresh. With Sakura Essence, AHA, Pro-Vitamin B3 for brighter and younger skin. 

Directions: Pour the toner onto a cotton facial pad and apply it gently on your face and neck. 

Ingredients: Aqua, Alcohol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Propylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Sodium Lactate, Disodium EDTA, Benzotriazolyl Dodecyl p-Cresol, Fragrance, Allantoin, Triethanolamine, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract.

Contains corn starch which helps to absorb excess oil and sebum on the face to make sure your makeup lasts longer. Also, contains zinc oxide as a skin protector with anti-microbial as well as a moisturizing agent that maintains the skin's natural moisture. Suitable for all skin types.

Directions: Gently pat (don't drag) it on your skin until it blends out. 

Ingredients: Talc, Corn (Zea Mays) Starch, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Zinc Stearate, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

May Contains: CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499, Alumina.

My Review: I think this Fanbo Gold Compact Powder is best used on skin that well-hydrated which means you have to prep your skin with moisturizer first before applying this compact powder directly onto your skin to prevent pore clogging and patchy effects. You can also use this powder as your setting powder on your makeup to get the matte finish look. 

Each compact comes with a sponge pad and a mirror so it makes it easier to use while on the go. The size of the compact is quite big than any other compact powders in the market. It's 22.5 grams!
